Technical Description
The DB series open cooling tower has been manufactured by our company based on years of design and manufacturing experience. After continuous improvement and refinement, the cooling tower technology is mature and the performance is stable. After testing by professional institutions, the various performance and indicators of our cooling tower have reached or exceeded the requirements of the international GB7190.2-1997 "Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic Cooling Tower". With its excellent quality, this tower is widely used in circulating cooling water systems such as metallurgy, petrochemicals, power, medicine, and central air conditioning.
1. Working principle of square cross flow cooling tower
Square cross flow cooling tower utilizes the contact between water and air to dissipate waste heat generated in industry or refrigeration and air conditioning through evaporation. The basic principle of its operation is that dry (low enthalpy) air is drawn by a fan and enters the cooling tower through the air inlet network; High temperature water molecules with a large component of saturated steam flow towards low-pressure air, while hot and humid (high enthalpy) water is sprayed into the tower through a self spraying system. When water droplets come into contact with air, on the one hand, due to the direct heat transfer between air and water, and on the other hand, due to the pressure difference between the water vapor surface and the air, evaporation occurs under the action of pressure, taking away the heat in the water and achieving the purpose of cooling through evaporation heat transfer.

2. Tower structure
The DB series square cooling tower body enclosure is made of fiberglass material, which not only ensures the strength of the tower body but also reduces its weight, and is aesthetically pleasing.
The tower adopts a steel truss system in structure, and all components are connected by galvanized bolts. According to the characteristics of the nodes, appropriate constraints are applied. Therefore, the tower not only has good overall stiffness, but also changes the internal force distribution of the tower structure, making the structural stress more reasonable.
A fiberglass material collection tray is installed at the bottom of the cooling tower. The installation of the collection tray effectively avoids the problem of ventilation short circuit in the cooling tower, allowing the incoming air to enter the tower completely through the air inlet window, allowing the cooling circulating water to fully contact with the air, greatly improving the cooling efficiency of the cooling tower. The installation of the collection tray also reduces the noise caused by water dripping.
3. Fan

Overview: The fan blades are molded by compression molding, and the blades are smooth and streamlined, with a smooth surface without defects such as cracks, gaps, burrs, etc. The impeller of the fan undergoes dynamic and static balance tests before leaving the factory. The fan is an important component of the cooling tower equipment, and its performance will directly affect the thermal performance of the cooling tower. Therefore, on the basis of strict requirements for supporting manufacturers in the selection of fans, special treatment is required for some key components in the system to provide customers with high-quality ventilation equipment.
Product features: The blades and hub are designed with equal torque, and the blade angle can be adjusted according to the required air volume. A high-strength and lightweight material fixing seat is used to reduce the overall weight of the hub, and the weight reduction of the fixing seat is on the outer side of the hub, so the transfer inertia is greatly reduced compared to before, improving the safety of the fan operation.

6. Technical features:
1) Efficient and low resistance: The waveform improved through multiple technological advancements gives the packing a larger specific surface area, effectively prolonging the residence time of water droplets on the packing and facilitating more complete water air heat exchange.
2) Superior flame retardant performance: flame retardant oxygen index ≥ 40
3) Superior hydrophilic and hydrophobic properties, resistance to temperature changes, no geometric deformation below 60 ℃, and no breakage or brittle fracture at -40 ℃.
4) Strong assembly block strength: The packing sheet adopts a through rod suspension type, with a 100% penetration rate. The packing does not deform, has high strength, is easy to replace, and has low operating costs.
5) The two ends of the packing are equipped with water collection tanks, which effectively reduce the loss of floating water during the operation of the cooling tower
6) Our company uses filler raw materials with uniform plasticization, no cracks, holes, bubbles, and poorly dispersed auxiliary materials.

Technical specifications: There should be no more than 3 bubbles of 3-5mm on the outer surface of each tower within a range of 1 square meter. The maximum diameter of surface bubbles shall not exceed 5mm.
The curing degree shall be ≥ 80% according to GB/T2576-1989 "Test Method for Insoluble Content of Fiber Reinforced Plastic Resin"
The Barkol hardness shall be greater than 35% according to GB3854-1987 "Test Method for Barkol Hardness of Fiber Reinforced Plastics"
The resin content shall be 45% -55% according to GB/T2577-1989 "Test Method for Resin Content of Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic"
The tensile strength shall be ≥ 200Mpa according to GB/T1447-1983 "Test Method for Tensile Properties of Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastics"
According to GB/T1449-1983 "Test Method for Flexural Properties of Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastics", the flexural strength of polyester fiberglass reinforced plastic parts is 147Mpa, and the flexural strength of epoxy fiberglass reinforced plastic parts is ≥ 196Mpa.
The impact toughness strength shall be ≥ 20J/c ㎡ according to GB/T1415-1983 "Test Method for Impact Toughness of Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic Simply Supported Beam".
The density is 1800kg/m3 according to GB/T1463-1988T<Test Method for Density and Relative Density of Fiber Reinforced Plastics'.
Service life: All fiberglass components in the cooling tower shall not be less than 20 years.
8. Gearbox
The reducer adopts Zhejiang Shangyu Baiguan Electric Motor Co., Ltd. This belt reducer is a well-known brand in China, which has the characteristics of smooth transmission, low operating noise, convenient refueling, easy maintenance, and long service life.
9. Noise treatment
The noise of the cooling tower mainly comes from three aspects: first, the water spraying noise; second, the exhaust sound above the air duct and the sound of the motor fan; third, the air inlet sound on the air inlet window.
The cooling tower produced by our company has two advantages: firstly, uniform water distribution and minimal water spraying noise; secondly, the fan is made of high-quality aluminum alloy with low noise and large chord arc shape, with slow fan speed and large air volume, and the air outlet is equipped with a sound-absorbing plate, effectively reducing noise; thirdly, the motor adopts a low-speed motor with a higher stage, and the motor fan adopts a belt drive reduction device to reduce the noise during start-up and operation, ensuring the noise index of the cooling tower during operation and reducing the fan noise. Through the above measures, the noise index of the cooling tower produced by our company can meet the requirements.
10. Maintenance channel
The design of this tower fully considers the requirements for easy maintenance and repair of the tower. There is a maintenance ladder on one side of the tower body and a maintenance walkway inside the tower to facilitate the normal maintenance and management of equipment at the top of the tower and meet fire safety requirements.
11. Steel structural components
All steel structural raw materials for the cooling tower are made of carbon steel profiles produced by Ma'anshan Iron and Steel Company. Corrosion is an important aspect of tower quality assurance. To ensure quality, our company has implemented a strict set of anti-corrosion measures for all steel components that leave the factory, including acid pickling, rust removal, water washing, alkali washing, oil removal, water washing, and hot-dip galvanizing. Under normal conditions, the service life of steel components that have undergone anti-corrosion treatment is not less than 20 years.
